The Hyaline Swift or Orange Swift (Parnara amalia) is a butterfly of the Hesperiidae family. It is found in Irian Jaya and Papua New Guinea, as well as Australia, where it is found in New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Queensland.
The species is thought to be important for the pollination in commercial Cashew Nut plantations.
The wingspan is about 30 mm.
The larvae feed on Leersia hexandra and Oryza species, including Oryza sativa.
